Welcome to Freshman Academy's Website!

Greetings Students and Parents,

        Your time begins now! We must all begin with the end in mind. Our goal, as a Freshman Academy, is to ensure that our students have a successful transition from middle school to high school. We want to create an environment where students are challenged academically, motivated to achieve, and reaching their highest potential.
        This year we will work together in all subject areas and across disciplines to make sure students are getting the best instruction. Collaborative planning amongst our teachers is going to be a major part of Freshman Academy. We will work together as teachers to plan lessons, review the data, and determine the best practices and strategies to meet the needs of our students. The use of technology will be a vital part of instruction and student learning.
        We will give our parents the opportunity to play an active role in their students' education by providing real time information via teacher websites, online gradebook, and parent conference nights. It is extremely important that we all play our parts in helping our students reach their goals.
