Ninth grade students have been enrolled in Reading Plus, a computer - based reading program that builds reading fluency. Parents may also learn more about the Reading Plus Program by accessing www.readingplus.com/help.
Students should be encouraged to utilize this program outside of school by accessing www.readingplus.com/users and following prompts. All ninth grade students have been given a password and parents may view student's results by clicking on "My Progress" in student profile. The reading level is list as the following:
WPM- Words per minute
ARL- Assigned Reading Level
ex: Level 2.5 is second grade fifth month/ level 9.5 is ninth grade fifth month
AVL- Assigned Vocabulary Level, same criteria as ARL
Sessions- Number of sessions students have completed.
